It is one of the largest technology companies in the world, ranking 82nd on the Fortune 100 with over $51 billion in revenue and nearly 83,300 employees.About The Job:About The Job:You will work directly with Technical Leaders, Principal Engineers and Product Managers leading platform specific microservices development for solutions across all Webex products.You will work with a 20+ members engineering team to plan, lead and execute technical challenges relating to microservices development.You will lead development teams to collaboratively design solutions.Essential Job Functions:Essential Job Functions:Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java, Spring, REST, and gRPC for Webex features.Build and manage real-time distributed data pipelines using Kafka.Ensure high code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and performance profiling.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and create system dashboards using tools like Grafana and Kibana.Collaborate with cross-functional teams across time zones, and participate in Agile ceremonies.Identify and fix bugs, optimize performance, and support architecture decisions and technical initiatives.Support on-call rotations (PagerDuty)Qualifications:Qualifications:8+ years of software development experience, with strong skills in Java, Spring, RESTful APIs, and gRPC.Proficient in Agile methodologies, unit testing, debugging, and code coverage.Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Maven, Git, and distributed caching.Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and architectural best practices.Experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), including monitoring, incident management, and performance/load testing.Skilled in performance optimization for speed, memory, and space.Exposure to AI integration and code generation tools.Excellent communication and teamwork skills across global teams.Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies.How to Apply: Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume using the apply online button on this job post.Equal Opportunity Employer: VARITE is an equal opportunity employer.
