Operations Manager Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, ensuring seamless coordination between sourcing, logistics, finance, and clients to meet operational deadlines.The Operations Manager will be appointed to:Ensure timely clearance of imported goods and accurate usage of HS codes to minimize landed cost.Forecast fund needs and ensure timely cash flow for both imported and local procurements.Provide high-quality reporting and risk management, enabling proactive decision-making by senior management.The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:Sourcing & Production MonitoringImport Clearance & Customs ManagementLogistics & Client DeliveryFinancial Planning & Cash Flow ManagementBudget and Capital Projects CoordinationReporting & Risk ManagementCompliance & Regulatory ManagementContinuous ImprovementThe Operations Manager will be responsible for:Weekly operations reports (status, risks, solutions)Monthly procurement and import forecast and fund requirement reportsRisk register with mitigation strategiesBudget utilization updates for capital-project-related procurementDocumentation of clearance / customs processes, agent performance, HS code usageTo succeed in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Admin, Logistics, or similar and significant relevant experience in procurement, import operations, or supply chain.The required skills and qualifications include:Knowledge of customs procedures, HS codes, duty minimizationFinancial planning experience: budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow managementStrong communication (internal + external) and stakeholder-management skillsOrganizational & risk-management abilitiesProficiency with ERP or supply-chain systems, MS Excel, etc.This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and organized individual who is passionate about supply chain management.We offer a competitive compensation package, including a transport allowance to and fro office and air ticket upon 2 years of successful completion of the contract.If you are a driven and results-oriented professional looking to take your career to the next level, please submit your application.
