Simulation Environment SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled Simulation Environment Specialist to join our project team on an immediate contract basis. The initial duration will be two months, with potential for extension. This is a high-impact role that bridges the gap between 3D art and robotics engineering.You will be responsible for transforming raw 3D models into fully functional simulation-ready assets for NVIDIA Isaac Sim. This requires a deep technical understanding of USD structures, physics properties, and Python scripting for automation.The key responsibilities of this position include:Asset Preparation: Ingest 3D models (USD, FBX, OBJ) and configure them for perception tasks and physics interaction.Environment Assembly: Build and validate simulation scenes, ensuring performance optimization and physics determinism.Pipeline & Logic: Use Python and OmniKit to write behaviour scripts and document the workflow for future scalability.This position requires strong skills in NVIDIA Isaac Sim and Omniverse, as well as experience with USD, physics simulation, and Python scripting. Proficiency in 3D DCC tools such as Blender, Maya, or Max is also necessary.The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. We offer a remote work arrangement and flexible hours, with a time commitment of 20-40 hours per week.Project Details:Duration: Initially two months, with potential for extension by mutual agreement.Start Date: Immediate start date.Location: Remote work arrangement.
