We are looking for a talented and creative Product Designer to join our dynamic team and help us create stunning new collections that align with our brand’s ethos of innovation and quality.


Role Summary:


The Product Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing new wedding accessories and gifting collections. This role requires a deep understanding of wedding trends, luxury design elements, and customer preferences, with the goal of creating bespoke products that delight our clients and differentiate Pataaree in the wedding industry.


Key Responsibilities:



• Creative Conceptualization: Develop new design ideas for wedding accessories and gifting items, including product sketches, mood boards, and prototypes, inspired by current and emerging wedding trends.

• Collection Development: Create complete product collections that align with seasonal trends, cultural traditions, and customer preferences, from initial concept to final product.

• Custom Product Design: Collaborate with clients and the sales team to create personalized, one-of-a-kind pieces based on client briefs, ensuring that every custom order reflects Pataaree’s design philosophy.

• Material and Process Innovation: Research and select appropriate materials, textures, and finishes for each product line, ensuring that every piece meets the highest quality standards.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, artisans, and suppliers to bring design concepts to life, ensuring designs are both aesthetically appealing and feasible for production.

• Market and Trend Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in wedding design, fashion, and luxury gifting. Analyze competitors and market demands to innovate and introduce new, unique designs.

• Product Customization: Develop modular design options that allow for customization while maintaining consistency in design quality and brand integrity.

• Design Presentations: Present design ideas and prototypes to the creative team and management, adjusting designs based on feedback and evolving trends.

• Sustainability: Incorporate sustainable design practices into product development, exploring eco-friendly materials and production techniques where possible.


What We’re Looking For:



• Design Expertise: Proven experience in product design, preferably within the wedding, fashion, or luxury industries. Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and typography.

• Creative Vision: A portfolio demonstrating a strong eye for design, innovation, and creativity, particularly in creating accessories and gifts.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD software. Familiarity with hand sketching is a plus.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and quality, ensuring that all designs are perfectly aligned with the brand’s luxury positioning.

• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate design concepts, both visually and verbally, and work collaboratively with internal teams and clients.

• Understanding of Materials: Knowledge of different materials, production techniques, and how they can be applied creatively in product design.

• Trend Awareness: Keen awareness of wedding trends, fashion, and cultural influences, with a passion for designing products that resonate with modern couples.

• Client-Centric Approach: Ability to create designs that not only meet creative goals but also align with client needs and customization preferences.


Qualifications:



• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in product design, preferably in wedding accessories, luxury gifting, or fashion.

• Strong portfolio showcasing previous design collections, including sketches, mood boards, and final product designs.

• Knowledge of production processes, material sourcing, and supply chain management in product design.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, creative environment.
