Cloud Data Engineer RoleWe are looking for a proactive and solution-oriented Cloud Data Engineer to join our team.This role requires hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially with BigQuery and Airflow, alongside strong SQL and Python skills.The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in solving problems independently, communicates effectively, and delivers reliable data solutions.Key Responsibilities:Technical Requirements Gathering and Development of Functional Specifications.Analysis on Various Development Alternatives for Applications, Information Systems, and Modules.Code Development in the Area of Data Management – Cloud, Data Integration, Analytics & Reporting.Supporting Junior Developers and providing Team Leadership/Mentorship.Supporting the Presales Team – Technical Whitepapers, Solutions Review.Working with Agile multicultural teams in Asia, the EU, Canada, and the USA.Requirements:To succeed as a Cloud Data Engineer, you will need:(Required) Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, with strong expertise in GCP, especially BigQuery and DataProc.(Required) Proficient in SQL, Python, and PySpark.(Optional) Experience with SSRS is a plus.(Required) Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams.(Required) Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a focus on delivering solutions.(Required) Experience in full-lifecycle data engineering projects on GCP.
