SAS Developer with 6+ years of Experience in SAS with proficient SAS Base programming knowledge & Experience in Banking or Finance Domain Functional in Finance/Credit Risk Requirements.
• Must have worked on data reading from Mainframe (VSAM files) or ODBC (Oracle/DB2) sources using SAS programming.
• Must Have experience of working with SAS DI and SAS Enterprise Guide platform.
• Must Have experience in Performing data analytics and review data lineages using SAS.
• Must Have expertise in application of various transformations in SAS DI Studio.
• Experience of designing, developing, and testing SAS DI jobs/ Flows and able to create Packages for implementation.
• Able to perform analysis and reverse analysis of SAS EG user written complex codes and SAS DI jobs.
• Perform data quality analysis using SAS Enterprise Guide and Data Integration Studio.
• Able to define and create data dissemination mechanisms /procedures that summarize data ito DB2 and Teradata for reading by Cognos Framework.
• Highly proficient and experienced with SAS functions and SQL.
• Able to define a data pipeline to source data from various systems and in multiple formats.
• Able to assist teams in maintenance of SAS infrastructure both in house and on Amazon Cloud.
• Strong experience in Data Validation, Data Quality and Error handling • Experience in Type I and type II data handling in ETL
• Should have experience in Data Handling through various Databases such as DB2, Oracle, MySQL, Teradata etc.
• Should have experience in Performance tuning and Optimization of the SAS ETL and transformation job.
• Have Understanding of scheduling Jobs through LSF, Cron-tab, TWS or Unix.
• Having SAS Management Console experience will be useful.
• Should understand Platform Process Manager.
• Full end to end project lifecycle experience from Development to Implementation required including Unit, Test, UAT.
• Effectively work with business analysts, development leads, researchers, and technical staff to analyze business requirements and provide guidance on using appropriate SAS tools and SAS coding techniques including statistical methodologies and data manipulation.
• Must work as a team player and able to create and maintain relationships with stakeholders and peers.
