Structural Design Engineer – RCC BuildingsThis role involves the creation of detailed structural designs for buildings constructed using Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC). The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of RCC design principles, codes, and practices.The key responsibilities include:Designing slabs, beams, columns, foundations, staircases, etc. in accordance with IS codesDeveloping detailed calculations, load checks, and optimization studies to ensure the structural integrity of the buildingCoordinating with draftsmen to produce accurate and comprehensive structural drawingsConducting thorough design reviews, peer checks, and updating the design based on site changesPreparing design deliverables that meet Good for Construction (GFC) standardsFor this position, we are looking for candidates who have:A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (B.Tech or M.Tech preferred)2–5 years of experience in RCC structural designProficiency in ETABS, SAFE, and AutoCAD softwareA strong understanding of relevant IS codes, including IS 456, IS 875, and IS 1893Practical knowledge of construction detailing and site coordinationExperience working on high-rise and township projects is highly desirableBonus points are given to candidates who have worked under senior structural consultants and assisted in creating framing plans and column layouts.
