We're a fast-growing startup building at the intersection of LLMs, infrastructure, and human-AI collaboration.Role Overview We are looking for an experienced backend engineer who can own core systems, ship fast, and build scalable infrastructure to power intelligent agent workflows and AI-native applications.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and Scale Backend Systems: Build and scale high-performance backend systems using Python (FastAPI), ensuring modular architecture aligned with product goals.Cloud Deployment and Optimization: Deploy, monitor, and optimize cloud-native applications on AWS or Azure for reliability and scalability.LLM Integration and Collaboration: Work closely with AI and product teams to integrate LLM pipelines into backend services.Leadership and Engineering Culture: Independently lead projects, mentor junior engineers, set code quality standards, and contribute to a fast-paced engineering culture.Must-Have Qualifications Backend Expertise: 5+ years of experience in Python, with strong proficiency in FastAPI, and solid CS fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, system design, and design patterns.Scalable Systems: Proven ability to design and scale production-grade systems, with a deep understanding of architecture and trade-offs.Cloud Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure, including deployment, CI/CD, observability, and cost optimization.AI & Ownership: Strong ownership mindset with experience delivering end-to-end solutions, including AI-native backends using LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.Experience with agent frameworks like Autogen, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, or AutoChain, along with exposure to vector databases, embedding pipelines, and retrieval-based systems.Background in FinTech or internal tools, with a strong passion for developer experience and infrastructure innovation.Benefits and PerksIndustry-leading pay with performance-based rewards.Work on cutting-edge AI applications with global impact and real-world use cases.A fast-paced team with direct influence on product and architecture decisions.
