Lab support Engineer:Location : BangaloreThe Role: As a Engineering operation in Embedded Business Unit, you will be responsible for the planning and logistics of embedded platform/board and system engineering programs supporting AMD IP and customer system solutions. By managing both internal and external deliverables, you will work to ensure all embedded new products are delivered on time. This critical and highly visible role provides an excellent growth opportunity for high performing individuals looking to make a difference and deliver a stand-out experience to customers of AMD.The Person:A successful candidate will have the ability to establish and drive to goals including planning the logistics, timelines and follow-ups. A candidate must be self-motivated, must have a passion for creating plans and working with a diverse team of creative engineers, must be able to deftly manage both internal and external engagement and ensure all embedded Hardware’s is available to all stake holder and delivered on time.The candidate must be a team player with a commitment to meeting deadlines and an aptitude to thrive in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.Key Responsibilities: Follow-up with BOPS to add Agile PN in SMS as per engineering team’s requestCreating offering in internal portal as per program mangers requestFollow-up with multiple Functional teams to submit order before due dateConsolidate requests from all functions and Submit order in internal portalFeeback end of life parts to Engineering team for replacementWork with Board operations to baseline orderFollow-up with Board Operations on ETA for ordersTrack the shipment and provide weekly updates to the recipientsAllocation of orders at the time of deliveryInitiate lead time and End of life analysis with Board Operations/Vendor for all embedded products every quarter and work with platform engineering for mitigation.Preferred Experience: Technical background in semiconductor industry with 5 years’ hands on technical workExperience in assisting Hardware projects and interacting with multiple engineering functionsEnd to End knowledge of Platform lifecyclePreferred experience in handling the board build and fabrication activities with contract manufacturers.Preferred experience in handling the platform BOM and involved logistics for the same.Highly organized, able to prioritize, and juggle multiple work streams to tight deadlines.Flexible working schedule to manage global (Asia and North America) program execution teams.Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint & MS ProjectStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAcademic Credentials: Engineering degree/Diploma in Computer science / Electrical / Electronics & Communications with 5+ years of industry experienceInterested,please drop your updated resume raksha.k@acldigital.com
