Position: Analyst (Intern/Fresh Graduate)

Type: Full-time/Internship Location: Bhubaneswar, Odisha

Important Note: Candidates must be willing to work from office in Bhubaneswar. Travel as and when required for short duration to various project locations across Odisha and other states.

Role Summary We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join our team as an Analyst. This role offers excellent exposure to diverse development sector projects including research, monitoring & evaluation, digital solutions, and policy analysis across domains like education, health, environment, and rural development.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Analysis

• Conduct primary and secondary research for baseline-endline studies
• Support policy analysis and research publication development
• Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preliminary analysis
• Prepare research briefs and summary reports
• Support needs assessment studies and impact evaluations

Data Management & Visualization

• Assist in survey design and data collection tool development
• Help maintain project databases and documentation

Content Development & Social Media Support

• Assist in creating IEC materials including booklets, toolkits, and educational content
• Support script development for awareness content
• Help in documentation of success stories and case studies
• Create engaging social media content for various platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
• Assist in social media posting and community engagement activities
• Support development of visual content and infographics for various platforms

Project Support

• Provide research support to senior team members
• Assist in client presentation preparation
• Support field survey coordination and data collection
• Help in project documentation and reporting

Required Qualifications

Educational Background

• Master's degree in Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, Social Sciences,MSW, MBA (Rural Management) or related field
• Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data analysis)
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi & Odia.
• Clear understanding and fluency in Odia language (reading/writing/speaking) is required
• Basic knowledge of social media platforms and content creation tools

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of survey design and research methodology
• Understanding of development sector challenges
• Experience with online survey platforms (KoBo, SurveyCTO)
• Proficiency in using LLMs and AI tools (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) for various work applications
• Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, basic Adobe Creative Suite)
• Eager and quick to learn new tools and skillsets
