Dedicated Medical Support Associate:Effectively manage and respond to patient calls in a professional, empathetic manner, prioritizing their needs.Evaluate caller concerns and provide accurate information based on established clinic guidelines and protocols.Swiftly escalate urgent matters to the on-call provider, ensuring timely follow-up as required.Coordinate appointment scheduling, cancellations, and rescheduling in alignment with clinic preferences.Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient interactions within the electronic health record system.Review and update patient charts as necessary to support seamless care coordination.Assist with medication refill requests, message forwarding, and administrative tasks to optimize operational efficiency.Maintain confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA and clinic policies at all times.Ensure effective communication with providers and clinic staff to foster a collaborative environment.Identify recurring issues and communicate trends to leadership for process improvement initiatives.Requirements:2–3 years of experience as a front desk medical assistant, virtual medical assistant, or in after-hours medical office calling (US-Based Medical Practice)Medical background preferredExcellent spoken and written English communication skillsStrong proficiency in EHR navigation and documentationAble to multitask, prioritize, and manage high call volumes efficientlyStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to follow established protocols accuratelyReliable internet connection and a quiet, professional remote workspaceHigh level of professionalism, punctuality, and accountability
