Our South Florida franchisee’s (SFF-MBFS) M&A deal team is industry agnostic and has 80+ years of cumulative experience in successfully advising in $5B+ in lower-middle market M&A, private equity, and venture capital transactions.


This is a full-time, remote role for an Investment Banking Associate.


SFF-MBFS Associates are expected to assume significant levels of responsibility requiring intellectual curiosity, motivation, and analytical aptitude. 


The Opportunity

The successful candidate will be driven and detail-oriented while having a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly. SFF-MBFS places a special emphasis on excellence in work products and presentations. Responsibilities

  • Preparing historical and projected financial statements, quality of earnings analysis, provide analysis of financial implications of mergers and acquisitions and conducting valuation analysis
  • Involved in execution activities including (but not limited) to data gathering, analysis and material preparation, as well as taking responsibility for managing standard processes such as preparing deal documentation
  • Develop marketing and support materials including (but not limited) executive summaries, confidential information memorandums (CIM), and management presentations
  • Facilitate data requests from clients
  • Support financial, commercial, operational and legal due diligence 
  • Interact with clients’ senior executives and institutional financial sponsors
  • Supports senior team members in marketing/origination activities

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Solid interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with financial modeling, valuation, and analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines and work on multiple tasks
  • Possess good attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • M&A, capital raising, investment banking, accounting or other relevant experience preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years investment banking work experience with a top-tier investment required
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques and transaction execution
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Masters degree or higher in business, accounting, finance, and or economics
  • CFA or working towards CFA designation is a plus
