Bookkeeper RoleWe are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and accounts of our company.Your primary duties will include:Recording and categorizing all financial transactions in a timely and accurate mannerRaising and generating invoices and ensuring correct reconciliationLinking and reconciling bank feeds, Stripe, PayPal and other platformsAttaching invoices and documents to financial entries with accurate referencesEnsuring all referencing is clear and traceable — from software to bank and vice versaManaging the invoice process from creation to tracking and paymentRegularly reconciling transactions to keep financial records up to dateEnsuring compliance with UK financial regulations and HMRC guidelinesKeeping digital finance files tidy and accessibleSupporting the accountant as needed for VAT, year-end, and reportingYou will be working closely with our accounting team to ensure that all financial processes are running smoothly and efficiently.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:2–3+ years of experience in bookkeeping (UK-based work preferred)Fully proficient in Xero (including reconciliation, bank feed setup, invoice attachment, etc.)AAT qualified or have completed a recognised UK bookkeeping courseStrong knowledge of UK tax rules, expense categories, and accounting standardsHighly organised, accurate, and able to triple-check your workAbility to allocate Stripe payments accurately — even when received in batchesAbility to work well independently, meet deadlines, and communicate professionallyTakes pride in being someone your team can rely on with full financial trustBenefitsThis is a full-time remote role (40 hours/week) offering a competitive monthly salary based on experience.
