Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJoin UsWe combine SNC-Lavalin's project management expertise and Hitachi Energy's deep technological knowledge to create a company dedicated to substations – we are LinxonThe Senior Project Engineer – Secondary will work on project/Tender specific activities assigned to the OPC group along with skilled team on a wide range of international T&D substation projects. Individual contributor using prior theoretical learning or knowledge of methods and technologies to execute work assignments using established solutions.What will you do?Technical Lead of Secondary Engineering of large and complex High Voltage Air & Gas Insulated Substation (AIS & GIS) projects.Prepare or validate and approve engineering for protection and control (P&C) system for HV and MV electric power substations.Prepare one-lines, three-lines, control schematics, interconnection and wiring diagrams, relay panel front views, and cable schedules.Provide technical calculations, technical purchasing specification and schedules for auxilliary power system equipment.Provide information for civil designs and coordination of interfaces between all disciplines.Prepare bill of quantities & cost estimation, deviations & clarifications.Review of supplier's design, Factory acceptance test plans, attend factory & site tests.Provide technical support and to develop tender scheme options and related project scope documents.Attend discussions with customers, handle site queries and take necessary actions up to as-built documentation.Experience, Education and other Required:Minimum 5 to 8 years of substation engineering experience in UK business.Strong knowledge on substation design disciplines, including primary, secondary and civils.Bachelor's Degree / Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant course.Willing to travel – Domestic / International and on siteWhat we offer:In return, we offer a wide range of rewards and benefits,20 days Privilege Leave, 13 days Emergency leave and 14 Public holidays per yearMedical Insurance, Life Insurance and Career ProgressionWe also have a brilliant smarter working policy, too.
