Structural Design Expertise for Food and Beverage Manufacturing FacilitiesThe Structural Design Engineer plays a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, analysis, and execution of structural elements within food and beverage manufacturing facilities.Key Responsibilities:Design and review structural components for new facilities, expansions, and equipment installations to ensure compliance with local building codes and industry standards.Perform detailed structural analysis and load calculations for buildings, mezzanines, pipe racks, and utility supports to guarantee safety and efficiency.Prepare and validate construction drawings, specifications, and bill of quantities (BOQs) in coordination with civil and architectural teams to meet project requirements.Conduct site inspections to monitor construction quality and adherence to design specifications, identifying areas for improvement.Collaborate with project managers, equipment vendors, and contractors during planning and execution phases to ensure seamless project delivery.Support feasibility studies, cost estimation, and risk assessments for structural scopes to inform business decisions.Maintain accurate documentation for audits, approvals, and internal governance to ensure regulatory compliance.Qualifications & Skills:Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.Experience: 5–10 years in structural design and construction within food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing.Tools: Proficiency in STAAD.Pro, AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project.Certifications: Licensed Structural Engineer or equivalent certification preferred.Skills: Strong analytical, design, and project coordination skills; knowledge of hygiene and food-grade construction practices is a plus.
