Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Engineer in Pre-Silicon Validation and Emulation to join our team and play a crucial role in the validation and verification of complex SoC designs using leading emulation tools.
As a Lead Engineer in Pre-Silicon Validation and Emulation, you will support the validation and emulation processes for advanced SoC designs. You will work with tools such as Palladium, Zebu, and Veloce, and focus on developing SV/UVM testbenches, managing FPGA prototyping efforts, and integrating Accelerated Verification IPs (AVIPs). This role requires significant experience in pre-silicon validation and a hands-on approach to emulation and debugging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pre-silicon validation and emulation activities using Palladium, Zebu, and Veloce platforms.
- Develop and maintain SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches to validate SoC designs effectively.
- Assist with FPGA prototyping to enhance pre-silicon verification and validate hardware functionality.
- Integrate Accelerated Verification IPs (AVIPs) to improve verification speed and efficiency.
- Contribute to managing the co-simulation environment, ensuring accurate interaction between hardware and software components.
- Perform board-level validation, using analyzers, debuggers, and other tools to identify and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with design, verification, and system engineering teams to achieve validation objectives.
- Provide support and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to the team’s knowledge base.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in pre-silicon validation and emulation technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in hardware emulation or SoC verification, with in-depth knowledge of emulation platforms like Palladium, Zebu, or Veloce.
- Experience in developing SystemVerilog/UVM testbenches and working in validation environments.
- Proficiency in FPGA prototyping and Accelerated Verification IPs (AVIPs).
- Familiarity with hardware description languages (SystemVerilog, Verilog) and scripting languages (Python, Perl, TCL).
- Hands-on experience with co-simulation environments and validation tools such as analyzers and debuggers.
- Understanding of SoC architecture, including CPU, memory, and peripheral components.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on debugging and resolving validation issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with low-power verification and formal verification techniques.
- Knowledge of hardware-software co-emulation and post-silicon validation.
