Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Specialist to join our team.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Preparing and submitting requests for proposals (RFPs) for commercial insurance clients, including fire, inland marine, engineering, and other specialty lines.Conducting in-depth research on clients' businesses to develop tailored insurance solutions that meet their unique needs.Reviewing and verifying risk audits and portfolio gap analyses to ensure accuracy and completeness.Selecting the most suitable insurers for clients based on factors such as price, coverage, service, and flexibility.Communicating the value of our insurance products and services to clients through clear and concise proposals and quotes.Cross-selling and upselling insurance services to increase revenue and enhance client relationships.Managing policy placements and preparing risk audit reports to maintain accurate records and support business growth.Requirements:At least 10 years of experience in commercial insurance underwriting and placement, with a strong understanding of corporate sales and business domains.Knowledge of various insurance products, including property, group health, and liability insurance, as well as a solid grasp of industry trends and best practices.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex insurance concepts to clients and stakeholders.A client-focused approach and strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and partners.A bachelor's degree in any field, with an MBA preferred but not required.
