Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager – VAPT with SonarQube Expertise

Job Type: Full-Time

Locations: Mumbai, Bangalore, Gurgaon

Experience Required: 5+ Years

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional in Vulnerability Assessment & Penetration Testing (VAPT) with proven expertise in SonarQube integration and implementation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading security assessments, integrating code quality and security analysis tools, and driving secure software development practices across client environments. Early joiners will be given priority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end VAPT assessments for applications, infrastructure, and networks.
  • Implement, configure, and optimize SonarQube for code quality and security scanning across multiple projects.
  • Integrate SonarQube with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Identify, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities in source code and applications.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to strengthen application and infrastructure security.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and IT security teams to ensure secure coding practices.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed VAPT and SonarQube reports for stakeholders, including executive-level presentations.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in secure coding and VAPT methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in VAPT.
  • Strong expertise in SonarQube integration, implementation, and rule customization.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard VAPT tools (Burp Suite, Nessus, Metasploit, OWASP ZAP, Nmap, etc.).
  • Understanding of OWASP Top 10, SANS 25, CVSS scoring, and secure SDLC practices.
  • Experience in integrating security testing into DevSecOps pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred: Certifications such as OSCP, CEH, GWAPT, or similar.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to cloud security assessments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with static (SAST), dynamic (DAST), and software composition analysis (SCA) tools.
