Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of PSA Engineer Network/Transmission. As a key member of our power systems application software development team, you will be responsible for advanced software development and successful delivery of assigned functions to meet corporate project/product commitments.Collaborate with Electric Utilities or ISOs (Independent System Operators) and Transmission System Operators (TSOs) on functional software specifications.Design, code, test, integrate, application tune and deliver software solutions.Key Skills and Qualifications:Customizing and delivering Energy Management Systems preferably e-terra AEMS - Reliance.Proficiency in C++, Java, or other related languages.GE's AEMS Reliance source design and development expertise.Familiarity with electric utility industry practices.Experience with LINUX and Windows Operating Systems.C, Java & Oracle Database skills.Ability to read and interpret logs & debug files.Installation of Operating system patches and other 3rd Party Software such as Oracle, NetApp etc.System configuration and hands-on experience in GitHub and ClearCase.Realtime or Mission Critical Systems knowledge.Good-to-Have Skills:C, Java & Oracle Database expertise.
