Civil Engineer RoleWe are seeking a skilled Civil Designer to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in civil engineering projects, including site servicing, site grading, stormwater management design, and construction services.The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assisting project engineers with the design and drafting of site plans, grading plans, and drainage plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D or other computer-assisted design/drafting equipment.Key responsibilities include:Creating detailed designs according to local standards and project specifications.Preparing preliminary and detailed drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D.Coordinating project drawings with project engineers and other stakeholders.Ensuring timely completion of projects while meeting client needs.Working under the direction of senior engineers as part of a collaborative team.Required qualifications and skills include:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office software.Familiarity with municipal and regional design standards in Ontario, Canada.Experience in land development project design, including site servicing and stormwater management.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Preferred skills include proficiency in HEC-RAS for floodplain analysis and water resource modeling.This is an opportunity to apply your technical expertise and contribute to the success of our organization.
