Job Summary:We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in React and Node.js to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in leading technical initiatives, mentoring engineers, and building scalable B2B web applications. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure delivery of high-performance and user-centric solutions. The long-term vision for this role is to lead and expand the B2B development team to drive continued growth and innovation.II. Roles & Responsibilities:- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of full stack engineers to ensure adherence to best practices in code quality, performance, and maintainability.- Own the complete development lifecycle—from architecture and design to deployment and maintenance.- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions.- Conduct regular code reviews and define development standards including CI/CD workflows, version control, and testing best practices.- Architect and develop responsive, high-performance web applications using React and Node.js.- Design and develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs for secure and scalable data exchange.- Optimize client-side performance, including rendering speed, caching, and API interaction.- Implement robust server-side logic, database integrations, and background processes using Express.js or NestJS.- Design and maintain database schemas for SQL and NoSQL systems to meet evolving business needs.III. Years of Experience:8 to 10 years of total experience in software development, with at least 3+ years in a lead or senior full stack role.IV. Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional):- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- Certifications in JavaScript frameworks, AWS/Azure, or Full Stack Development are a plus.V. Skill Set Required:Must have:- Strong proficiency in React.js, Node.js, Express.js/NestJS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.- Solid understanding of front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, Vite, etc.).- Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture.- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).- Proven experience in leading development teams, code reviews, and setting technical standards.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Nice to have:- Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.- Experience in performance optimization and application security best practices.- Understanding of UI/UX best practices and design patterns.About SMC Squared:At SMC Squared, people are the foundation of our success.
