Company Description:Paradise Copper Recycling is a sustainable metal recycling company specializing in the collection, processing and resale of copper and other non-ferrous metals. We are committed to reducing waste, conserving natural resources and promoting environmentally responsible recycling practices.Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Chartered Accountant role located in Chennai. The Chartered Accountant will handle day-to-day financial operations, including audits, financial statement preparation, tax compliance, and regulatory filing adherence. Responsibilities also include managing budgets, assessing financial risks, providing strategic financial advice and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and best practices.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.Manage and coordinate annual audits, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.Prepare and file tax returns (GST, TDS, Income Tax) accurately and on time.Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.Advise management on cost reduction, profit improvement, and investment strategies.Ensure compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and local accounting standards.Supervise accounting staff and ensure timely closure of accounts.Maintain effective communication with auditors, tax authorities and stakeholders.Qualifications & Skills:Expertise in Accounting Principles, Budgeting and Financial ReportingProficiency in Taxation, Compliance and Audit ProcessesStrong skills in Financial Analysis, Strategic Planning and Risk ManagementHigh level of proficiency in Accounting Software and Financial ToolsExcellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and organizational skillsGood communication and teamwork capabilitiesProfessional Certification (e.g., Chartered Accountant or CPA) is requiredBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related field (master's preferred)Chartered Accountant (CA) certification.Proven experience in corporate accounting, auditing or financial management.
