Opening this role in Bangalore and Chennai locationsProject DescriptionWe are currently seeking a Senior Scrum Master to help support our Banking Team in its continued transformation journey.Responsibilities:Understand project scope, goals and deliverables of the Project.Effectively communicate project requirements to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion by identifying and managing project dependencies and critical pathHelp stakeholders to plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.Monitor, track and provide outward communication for improved transparency on teams progress against their delivery goals for product releases.Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.Drive and lead the scrum activities for the scrum teams within the ongoing sprints.Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.Implement process improvements inside teams.Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least one year for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency.Assessing the Scrum Maturity of the team and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team.SkillsMust have:Overall Experience of 8+ years along with at least 3+ years of experience as Scrum Master in Banking DomainGood understanding of SDLC preferably who has worked in technical role(BA,Dev,Tester) in previous projects with strong time, cost and value managementExperience in using Jira and other Agile development toolsExperienced in working with globally spread cross-functional and multicultural teamsAble to do excellent demos/presentationsExperience in managing onshore/offshore teams and able to resolve any roadblocks and work or team conflictsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsUnderstand the fundamentals of iterative developmentUnderstand the fundamentals of software development and processesUnderstand incremental deliveries and value of metrics, schedules,capacity and milestone trackingUnderstand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity and task definitionFamiliar with common agile practices, service-oriented environmentsNice to haveScrum Certifications from reputed institutes desirableLanguage: English C1 Advance
