Developer Advocate


Fynd’s Commerce Platform is a SaaS-based solution aimed at penetrating the commerce market in India and globally. To accelerate this journey, we need to foster strong connections with the developer community, ensuring they have the resources and guidance to build innovative solutions on our platform.


As a Developer Advocate, you’ll be the voice of Fynd’s developer community, working to ensure that developers are successful in using Fynd’s platform. You will build relationships, create technical content, and help developers understand how they can leverage our products to achieve their goals.


What will you do at Fynd?

Community Building:

  • Engage with and build strong relationships within the developer community, both online and offline.
  • Organize and participate in meetups, hackathons, and conferences to advocate for Fynd’s platform and engage with developers.
  • Represent Fynd in developer forums, open-source communities, and other relevant technical communities.

Content Creation:

  • Create educational content, such as blog posts, tutorials, videos, and webinars, that demonstrate how to use Fynd’s tools and APIs.
  • Develop and maintain sample applications, demos, and other developer resources that showcase Fynd’s platform capabilities.

Product Feedback Loop:

  • Gather feedback from the developer community and work with product and engineering teams to improve the developer experience.
  • Serve as the bridge between external developers and internal teams, ensuring product decisions align with developer needs.

Developer Support:

  • Provide technical assistance to developers, helping them solve issues and offering guidance on best practices for using Fynd’s platform.
  • Participate in developer support channels, forums, and issue trackers to assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Technical Evangelism:

  • Act as a public-facing technical expert, presenting at conferences, writing articles, and engaging in technical discussions to showcase Fynd’s offerings.
  • Promote Fynd's platform by contributing to open-source projects and engaging with influential voices in the tech community.


Some Specific Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in developer advocacy, developer relations, or community management roles.
  • A passion for working with developer communities and helping others succeed technically.
  • Experience in content creation (e.g., blogs, videos, tutorials) and public speaking (e.g., webinars, conference talks).
  • Strong coding skills and experience with APIs, SaaS products, or platform engineering.
  • Familiarity with technologies like cloud services, APIs, microservices, and open-source contributions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.


Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience in a software development role.
  • Active presence in developer communities (e.g., GitHub, Stack Overflow, or open-source projects).
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, Python, or other programming languages used within Fynd’s tech stack.
