Job Description for Azure Engineer with development experience Primary Skills
• 8 to 9 years of expert-level proficiency in PowerShell scripting
• Experience working in Microsoft packages in Powershell specifically Azure Entra, Intune, Azure Az etc
• Experience in designing and developing Azure solutions using Azure function apps., App services, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus, Azure Data factory, Storage account, Key Vault
• Experience with C#, and PowerShell for developing APIs, automation scripts
• Knowledge of Azure AD, Microsoft 365 licenses
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively on projects. • Knowledge of different authentication mechanisms – device code, client credentials, on behalf of etc
• Implement device code authentication mechanisms for secure connections to external services and APIs.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud platform and their authentication mechanisms.
• Strong documentation and communication skills for training and knowledge sharing. Responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of device code authentication protocols, particularly OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
• Demonstrated experience with API integration, including RESTful APIs and JSON data handling.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, C#, etc.) for building automation and integration scripts.
• Understanding of security best practices in authentication and API communication.
• Experience with Azure AD, Microsoft Graph API, or other identity and access management platforms is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Good to have
• Experience working on Office 365 services like SharePoint, Power Automat
