Finance Data Engineer

Finance Data Engineer will be responsible for implementing data intelligence solutions around Snowflake Data Warehouse for global finance organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes, designs, develops, tests, and supports data analytical solutions withinSnowflake Cloud Data Warehouse
  • Developing ETL pipelines in and out of data warehouse using Snow SQL,
  • Writing SQL queries against Snowflake
  • Provide production support for Data Warehouse issues such data load problems, transformation translation problems.
  • Testing and clearly document implementations, so others can easily understand the requirements, implementation, and test conditions.

Must Have:

  • 5- year solid experience and understanding of architecting, designing and operationalization of analytics solutions on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse and otherRelational Databases
  • 5- year advanced SQL scripting and performance tuning
  • Understanding data transformation and translation requirements and which tools to leverage to get the job done.
  • Able to work on and prioritize multiple projects with cross functional teams.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and delivery of simple and effective solutions.
  • Bachelors degree in computer science or technology from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education and experience

Good To Have:

  • Working knowledge of SAP-HANA, ABAP, and AWS
  • Microsoft Power BI DAX programing and data visualization
  • Working with finance organizations, especially in manufacturing functions production, spend, fixed asset and project system.
