Our sister company https://immisupport.com is seeking an experienced Canada Immigration Paralegal with 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Canadian immigration attorneys and consultants. This role requires strong expertise in case preparation, client intake, and managing high-volume immigration matters. You will be directly supporting attorneys and consultants on a broad range of applications, appeals, and admissibility issues, while working under pressure with strict deadlines.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to federal and provincial immigration processes, and to contribute to complex cases ranging from work permits and sponsorships to appeals and judicial reviews.

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Canadian Immigration Paralegal or Caseworker.
• Case Expertise: NAFTA Professional Work Permits, Intra-Company Transferee, LMIA, Express Entry, PNPs, Spousal Sponsorship, Caregiver Applications, Criminal Inadmissibility (TRP, Criminal Rehabilitation), IAD Appeals, Judicial Reviews, Study Permits, and ATIPs.
• Client Interaction: Proven ability to conduct intakes, manage sensitive client communications, and guide applicants on documentation.
• Workload Management: Ability to manage multiple applications and appeals simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Tech Skills: Familiarity with Canadian immigration case portals (IRCC Portal, GCKey, PNP portals) and document preparation systems.
• Communication: Excellent English writing and speaking skills; ability to draft persuasive submissions, affidavits, and application packages.

• Case Preparation: Prepare and review applications for work permits, study permits, PR pathways (Express Entry, PNP), spousal sponsorship, caregiver programs, and TRPs.
• Client Intake: Gather details from clients, explain required documentation, and ensure case files are complete and accurate.
• Attorney/Consultant Support: Work directly with Canadian attorneys and licensed consultants on case strategies and submissions.
• Appeals & Reviews: Assist in preparing supporting documents and records for IAD appeals and Judicial Reviews.
• Legal Research: Research IRCC regulations, provincial nominee guidelines, and admissibility issues to support filings.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with attorneys, clients, and internal teams to resolve missing documents or compliance concerns.
• Ongoing Learning: Stay updated on Canadian immigration law updates, program changes, and policy shifts across provinces.
