About the Role The Technical Lead will serve as the offshore delivery owner and technical point of contact for Narwal ServiceNow platform team. This individual will bridge offshore execution with onshore leadership, ensuring quality, performance, and architectural alignment across ServiceNow initiatives. They will combine deep hands-on ServiceNow expertise with strong coordination and communication skills, acting as both a technical guide for the team and a delivery interface to the NARWAL platform and product leads. Overview : The Technical Lead will serve as the offshore delivery owner and technical point of contact for NARWAL’s ServiceNow platform team. This individual will bridge offshore execution with onshore leadership, ensuring quality, performance, and architectural alignment across ServiceNow initiatives. They will combine deep hands-on ServiceNow expertise with strong coordination and communication skills, acting as both a technical guide for the team and a delivery interface to the NARWAL platform and product leads. Key Responsibilities : • Lead offshore ServiceNow Developers, driving daily execution, velocity, and technical excellence. • Act as the first line of issue resolution — identify blockers, assign ownership, and escalate as needed. • Partner closely with onshore leads to ensure technical and architectural consistency. • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and release readiness reviews. • Enforce ServiceNow coding, security, and performance standards. • Review solutions to ensure they meet Narwal’s customized (non-out-of-box) ServiceNow framework. • Mentor team members and foster accountability, ensuring the team meets commitments. • Provide clear, proactive status updates and raise delivery or dependency risks promptly. Required Skills & Experience : • 8+ years of ServiceNow Development / Architecture experience. • Proven expertise building custom ServiceNow applications, not just configuring out-of-box modules. • Strong understanding of CMDB, integrations, workflows, UI policies, and scripting (JavaScript, Glide API). • Experience with ServiceNow performance optimization, governance, and complex customization. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery and offshore/onshore collaboration models. • Excellent communication and cross-team coordination skills. • Experience mentoring or managing developers across distributed teams. Preferred : • Prior experience leading distributed/offshore ServiceNow teams. • Exposure to Datadog, Azure DevOps, and integration performance monitoring. • Background in healthcare or regulated environments.
