Our debut title, Solitaire Castle Royal, already showcases outstanding retention and monetization metrics, setting the stage for continued growth and success.Role DescriptionBrightpoint Studios is looking for a Game QA Engineer to play a pivotal role in the testing and quality assurance of our gaming products. Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and fellow QA team members to identify and resolve issues, ensuring our games meet the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in game testing, a solid understanding of testing techniques, and experience with SQL (BigQuery), MongoDB. This is a full-time, work from office role located in Bengaluru.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Plans and Cases: Design, develop, and execute test plans & test cases for gaming products.Testing: Perform functional, regression, performance & stress testing on various platforms and devices.Defect Tracking: Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.Reporting: Generate test reports and share findings with all stakeholders.Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and isolate issues, submit bugs, and collaborate with developers for resolution.Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide feedback on design and functionality.Data Validation: Utilize SQL (BigQuery) and MongoDB for data validation and testing purposes.Analysis and Improvement: Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvements.QualificationsEngineering Degree: A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.Experience: 2-3 years of experience in software QA, with a focus on game testing and/or any mobile application testing across Android & iOS devices.Passion for Gaming: Genuine enthusiasm for gaming and a keen eye for discovering issues within games.Testing Techniques: Strong understanding of software testing techniques and methodologies.Database Skills: Proficiency in SQL (BigQuery) and MongoDB for data querying and validation.Scripting Languages: Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Java is a plus.Testing Tools: Familiarity with various testing tools and frameworks.Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills.Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Why Join Us?Competitive compensation and benefits.Chance to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced studio.Work alongside a passionate team of gaming professionals.ApplicationInterested candidates please email your cv with any related portfolio to hr@brightpointstudios.com We will have an assignment round followed by 3 rounds of Interviews.
