Job SummaryThe Finance Manager will lead the financial operations of our organization, ensuring accuracy and strategic oversight across ongoing projects. This role focuses on reviewing financial data to strengthen internal controls, track project-wise performance, and provide leadership with clear insights.Main Responsibilities:Review all accounting entries for accuracy and compliance.Ensure monthly closing, reconciliations, and ledger accuracy.Oversee GST, TDS, PF/ESI, Professional Tax, and statutory filings.Coordinate annual audits with external auditors.Maintain statutory registers and ensure compliance with accounting standards.Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flows per project.Finalize client invoices after reviewing milestones, variation orders, and revisions.Track outstanding payments, collections, and update leadership regularly.Prepare and verify consultant POs, work orders, and bills.Review vendor and consultant invoices processed by the Junior Accountant.Approve payments after verification and ensure orderly reconciliation.Track advances, retentions, and consultant agreements related to projects.Review payroll inputs processed by the HR Manager and ensure accuracy.Oversee reimbursements, travel claims, and employee advances.Ensure regulatory compliance of the Gratuity Trust and employee payouts.Prepare monthly MIS reports: revenue, expenses, cash flow, project P&L.Assist leadership in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.Provide financial advice to support strategic decisions.Strengthen internal control systems, accounting SOPs, and audit trails.Mentor the Junior Accountant and ensure systematic accounting practices.Identify process gaps and implement improvements for speed and accuracy.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce or Finance; CA Inter preferred.6–12 years of experience in accounting; architecture/engineering/consulting experience preferred.Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, statutory compliance, and accounting standards.Proficiency in Tally ERP / Zoho Books / similar platforms.Excellent Excel and MIS reporting skills. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.
