About the role:We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead data migration activities for SAP implementations. This key position involves ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely migration from legacy systems to SAP environments.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) and SAP Data Migration Cockpit.Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and optimizing ETL processes using SAP BODS for large-scale data migration projects.This includes performing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple legacy systems to SAP ECC or S/4HANA.The successful candidate will configure and manage SAP Data Migration Cockpit for end-to-end migration activities.They will conduct data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data integrity and compliance.This includes collaborating with functional and technical teams to understand business requirements and map data accordingly.Troubleshooting and resolving migration issues is also a critical aspect of this role, ensuring minimal downtime and high performance.The selected individual will prepare technical documentation, migration strategy, and cutover plans.Supporting mock runs, reconciliation, and audit of migrated data is also required.Required skills and qualifications include 8-12 years of experience in SAP Data Migration projects.A strong understanding of SAP BODS and related tools is essential.Solid knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA data structures, as well as proficiency in SQL, data modelling, and performance tuning, is also necessary.Experience in data validation, reconciliation, and reporting is highly valued.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are also required.Bachelor's/masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.Benefits:This role offers opportunities for continuous learning and skill enhancement, ensuring that you can provide innovative and effective solutions to our clients.You will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical problems related to SAP DS, data migration, and integration.What we offer:An exciting opportunity to work on large-scale data migration projects and collaborate with experienced professionals.Continuous support and guidance from experienced colleagues.A chance to enhance your skills and stay updated with the latest SAP technologies, cloud platforms, and trends.
