Our objective is to build pipelines that operate efficiently, effectively, and continuously improve in production.This is a fully remote role open to candidates based in Europe or India, with occasional team gatherings in Mountain View, California.Design and implement scalable ETL workflows using Python and SQL, orchestrated with Airflow.Develop and maintain the SAIVA Data Lake/Lakehouse on AWS, ensuring high-quality data, governance, scalability, and accessibility.Routine distributed data processing tasks with Spark on AWS EMR and/or EKS.Implement batch and streaming ingestion frameworks (APIs, databases, files, event streams).Enforce validation and quality checks to ensure reliable analytics and ML readiness.Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines with CloudWatch, integrating observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or Datadog.Skills and Qualifications:Technical Skills:ETL workflowsData lakes/lakehousesDistributed data processingBatch and streaming ingestionAdditional Requirements:Experience with Python and SQLUnderstanding of cloud-based systemsFamiliarity with data visualization and monitoring toolsBenefits:This role offers the opportunity to work from anywhere in Europe or India, with regular virtual team meetings.The ideal candidate will have a passion for building efficient data solutions and staying up-to-date with industry trends.
