About the OpportunityWe are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead our team in revolutionizing residential development through cutting-edge technology and sustainable design.We combine AI-driven platforms for bespoke MEP design services prioritizing energy efficiency and regulatory compliance with simulation engines that optimize mechanical systems for projects ranging from single-unit renovations to 1,000+ unit communities.Cutting-edge technology: Collaborate with software engineers to refine an AI-powered simulation engine extracting project data, running detailed performance analyses and optimizing mechanical systems.High-impact projects: Work on a wide range of developments ensuring mechanical systems are right-sized, efficient and cost-effective.You will:Design high-performance mechanical systems specifying heating, ventilation, and domestic hot-water solutions for residential developments maximizing energy efficiency, comfort and safety.Optimize and simulate utilizing digital tools to evaluate various configurations, perform thermal and hydraulic calculations, and refine designs based on simulation outputs and real-world constraints.Bridge design and construction working closely with architects, developers and contractors to ensure designs are buildable, commercially viable and aligned with project timelines.Advise on sustainability integrating passive design strategies, renewable heat sources and advanced control systems to deliver energy-efficient and future-proof solutions.Support project delivery participating in design reviews, contributing to installation guidance and providing on-site or remote support during commissioning to ensure systems perform as intended.
