Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of comprehensive test automation frameworks for various applications.

Independently define test automation strategy and select appropriate tools and technologies.

Develop and maintain reusable automation scripts for a wide range of functionalities.

Mentor and guide junior test engineers on automation best practices and tools.

Foster a collaborative environment and actively participate in code reviews.

Analyze test results, diagnose defects, and work with developers to resolve issues.

Integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and delivery.

Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in automation testing.

Participate in defining and implementing test automation standards for the organization.

Effectively communicate test strategy and results to stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

7+ years of experience in automation testing with a proven track record of success.

Experience in leading and mentoring junior test engineers.

Skills:

In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

Expert-level proficiency in automation testing tools like Selenium, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.

Strong experience with scripting languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript.

Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Superior communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Bonus points:

Experience with API testing and performance testing tools.

Experience with cloud-based testing platforms.

Experience with BDD (Behavior Driven Development) methodologies.
