Job DescriptionThe IT Service Management Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting the Managed Services tool sets and associated processes and procedures. This encompasses providing daily operational support, managing ticket distribution, and ensuring timely handling of client access management requests.Responsible for delivering, maintaining, and supporting the enterprise ServiceNow application.Serves as a subject matter expert on the ITSM Ticketing System and is responsible for system administration duties for critical tools and applications for the Managed Services teams.Supports end users and key stakeholders in a timely and professional manner to facilitate seamless daily operations.Key ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will possess strong technical and functional design skills, with expertise in general data concepts, mapping, and relationships. They will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Service Now, providing administrative support for users, roles, and groups, and offering technical support for existing ServiceNow environments, applications, and modules.Monitors assignment group queues in ServiceNow and proactively assumes ownership of incidents and requests.Works closely with other members of the Platform team to ensure that design and processes meet technical requirements.Validates service request requirements and works them to completion in ServiceNow.Participates in identifying enhancement opportunities for improvement and implements enhancements in collaboration with operational teams.
