To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Expertise in Server operating systems – Linux RHEL/Windows/VmWare.
  • Expert in all aspects of Dell PowerMax/Vmax3/SRDF/XtremIO, Pure FlashArray, HPE Primera, Cirrus DMS.
  • End-to-end server mapping from server to storage.
  • Experience in using Python, Ansible, and Shell Scripting languages to implement storage automation and as-a-service offerings.
  • Capable of product testing and qualification.
  • Well-experienced in server and storage remediation.
  • Past working experience in a storage/scripting/automation role.
  • A deep technical understanding of Cloud and Storage Infrastructure.
  • Infrastructure as Code and automation/orchestration technologies, such as Puppet/Chef/Ansible Tower/Jenkins.
  • Experience of continuous integration/continuous delivery software engineering approaches.
  • Experienced in storage migration - Storage and server based.
  • Experience working in relevant environments, i.e., server engineering in a similar location is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working in relevant markets/contexts, i.e., IT in finance, Storage is desirable but not essential.
