Senior Construction Accounting Manager

Job OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned construction accounting professional to oversee and manage the financial accounting functions within the company. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of construction accounting principles, financial management, and compliance.Key Responsibilities:Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Coordinate and facilitate the construction draw process, ensuring timely and accurate disbursement of funds for construction activities.Manage the yearly audit and tax compliance process, ensuring all information is complete, accurate, and available for tax preparers and auditors.Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:Essential Skills:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.Minimum 8-10 years of experience in real estate/construction industry.Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and quality of deliverables.
