Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Animation Artist at CreatHives in Bengaluru. The Animation Artist will be responsible for tasks such as creating animations, storyboarding, 2D and 3D animation, and character animation.


Key Responsibilities:

* Animation & Motion Design: Develop and animate high-quality character animations, motion graphics using After Effects and Premiere Pro. Work mainly on 2d elements to enhance storytelling and visual appeal.

* Character Rigging: Set up and rig characters for fluid, dynamic animations. Ensure rigging setups are efficient and flexible to meet the needs of the production pipeline.

* Typography & Visual Elements: Create and animate visually compelling typography and integrate it seamlessly within motion design projects.

* Art Style & Design Consistency: Uphold and maintain established art direction and style guidelines throughout the production of individual videos, ensuring visual coherence and professional quality in each deliverable.

* Collaborative Storytelling: Work closely with designers, scriptwriters, and the creative team to understand project goals and produce animations that align with the project’s narrative and vision.

*Problem Solving: Troubleshoot animation and technical challenges that arise during production.

*Asset Management: Organize and manage all project files, ensuring clean and efficient workflows.


Required Skills & Experience:

* A minimum of 2 years of experience as an animator or motion designer.

* Expert proficiency in After Effects, with a solid understanding of animation principles, including timing, easing, and pacing.

* Demonstrated experience in character rigging and animation.

* Strong skills in motion graphics, particularly in abstract visual designs, transitions, and dynamic motion sequences.

* A good sense of typography, with an ability to creatively animate text and work it into video compositions.

* Ability to follow and maintain design guidelines.

* A solid portfolio or demo reel that highlights expertise in character animation, motion graphics, and typography.

* Familiarity with other Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus.

Nice-to-Have:

* Knowledge of 3D animation software such as Blender or Cinema 4D.
