Job Opportunity: Graphic Designer (HTML Email Design) – Contractual Role with Leading Bank


Location: Mumbai  

Job Type: Contractual (6 months / 1 year renewable based on performance)


Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer with specialized expertise in HTML email design to join the creative team of a leading bank in Mumbai.

This is a contractual opportunity where you will play a critical role in designing visually compelling, responsive email marketing campaigns that drive engagement across multiple platforms and devices.


Core Responsibilities:


Email Design:

 - Create visually appealing, responsive email templates that align with the brand’s aesthetic and marketing goals.  

 - Optimize email designs for various types of campaigns, including newsletters, promotions, and announcements.


HTML & CSS Coding:

 - Write HTML and CSS code to ensure emails render properly across different email clients (Gmail, Outlook, etc.) and devices (desktop, mobile).  

 - Structure emails for maximum compatibility across various email platforms.


Testing & Optimization:

 - Test email designs on multiple platforms and devices to identify and resolve rendering issues.  

 - Troubleshoot and resolve any email rendering or performance issues to ensure seamless functionality.


Collaboration with Marketing Team:

 - Work closely with the marketing team to understand campaign goals, audience, and objectives.  

 - Ensure email design aligns with broader marketing strategies and best practices.


Visual Design:

 - Design visually engaging email templates that feature compelling graphics, clear calls to action, and consistent branding.  

 - Stay aligned with the company’s brand guidelines and ensure email designs reflect the brand identity.


Brand Consistency:

 - Ensure email designs consistently follow brand style guides and maintain brand integrity across all communications.


Required Skills & Qualifications:


Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong focus on email design and coding.


Software Skills:

- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) for design work.  

 - Strong coding skills in HTML and CSS for creating responsive, optimized email layouts.


Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing previous email designs, including newsletters, marketing campaigns, or promotional emails, demonstrating both creativity and technical expertise.


Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand project goals, deadlines, and feedback.


Problem-Solving: Experience troubleshooting and resolving email rendering issues across different platforms (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail).


Self-Management: Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.


Resourcefulness: Proficient with necessary tools (laptop, software, etc.) to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
