Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airside Operations Manager to join our team. As the Assistant General Manager - Airside Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of all airside activities.This includes adhering to regulations, standards, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You will work closely with relevant stakeholders to safeguard the aerodrome and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Main ResponsibilitiesDay-to-Day Activities: Lead, manage, and control day-to-day activities of airside operations. Ensure safety, efficiency, and capacity optimization.Aerodrome Safeguarding: Implement and enforce aerodrome safeguarding regulations as per GSR 751(E) and other regulations.Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to obtain NOCs for new airport infrastructure and maintenance projects.Additional ResponsibilitiesCoordination and Communication: Coordinating with AAI, IMD, regulatory bodies, Airlines, GHAs, and internal stakeholders for smooth airside operations.Capacity Enhancement: Hosting Airspace and Airside Capacity Enhancement Meetings and implementing agreed improvements.Document Review and Update: Reviewing and updating Aerodrome manual, departmental SOPs, Operational circulars, and ensuring their implementation.Support and Guidance: Supporting budget planning, monitoring, and judicious expenditures. Also, coordinating with HR for recruitment, induction, training, goal settings, performance management, team building, motivation, periodical appraisals, counselling, and support.
