**Job Description:** We have openings for Sr Embedded System Engineer professionals in a dynamic location.Participate in feature requirements definition with a team of product managers, developers, and testers.Develop features specifications and implement detailed design to deliver on defined requirements.Problem isolation and fault finding in embedded systems using modern tools and environment.Support test automation for developed features.Customer issue replication.Creating and updating of releases notes.Work across development teams onsite and offsite to create market leading products across worldwide markets.Mentor junior engineers on development, code, and debugging.Required Skills and Qualifications:Expert C programmer with top-class embedded debugging skills.Proven Linux/UNIX development skills (ideally in an embedded environment) including networking, scripting, and socket programming.Excellent analytical skills and ability to cope with ambiguity and change.Proven experience in the full software development cycle within a project-based environment.Able to use debuggers, protocol analysers, and logic analysers.Experience with modern 32-bit processors/microcontrollers e.g. ARM and their toolchains.Self-starter with excellent communication and documentation skills and ability to work unaided.Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.Benefits:This role offers opportunities for professional growth and collaboration with a talented team.Others:Highly desirable to have proven development experience with Embedded Linux Kernel and Device Drivers.Highly desirable to have proven development experience with Windows Device Drivers.Highly desirable to have experience with video and audio codecs such as MPEG4 and JPEG.Highly desirable to have USB protocols knowledge and expertise.Highly desirable to have a thorough understanding of protocol stack concepts and architecture.Highly desirable to have familiarity with protocol development for embedded systems.Highly desirable to have experience in REST API development.Highly desirable to have experience in creation of embedded SDK kits for third parties.Education/experience requirements include 7+ years of software development with relevant technologies and a Bachelor's degree in either engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related scientific/technical discipline.
