Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Founding MLOps Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time, remote position located in the San Francisco Bay Area.About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a talented engineer to contribute to designing, building, and maintaining the core infrastructure, systems, and software of our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing scalable systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define solutions, managing technical challenges, and ensuring the reliability and performance of all deployed systems.ResponsibilitiesSystem Development: Develop scalable systems that meet the needs of our businessCollaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to define solutions and drive project forwardTech Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to team membersReliability and Performance: Ensure the reliability and performance of all deployed systemsRequirementsCLOUD EXPERIENCE: 2+ years operating production cloud systems (serverless + containers) with real ownership of reliability, security, and costAi Models: Have deployed AI models to productionMACHINE LEARNING FUNDAMENTALS: Strong understanding of Machine Learning, LLMs, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science fundamentalsVECTORDATABASES AT SCALE: Deep Understanding and experience of Vector Databases at ScaleReactJs And Ai Tools: Have familarity with ReactJS and AI tools to iterate on front-end CLOUD COMPUTING AND INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGEMENT: Experience with Cloud Computing, Infrastructure Management, and DevOps practicesAGILE DEVELOPMENT WORKFLOW: Familiarity with Agile Development and Start-up Environment WorkflowsLanguages: Comfortable shipping in Python, TypeScript, and Java; you value typed contracts and clean interfaces to the frontend.DEGREE: Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degrees preferredPASSION FOR INNOVATION: Passion for innovation and building cutting-edge technology
