Job Description:
The Spares Manager is responsible for managing the inventory, procurement, and distribution of spare parts for the packaging equipment. The role involves ensuring the availability of critical spares to minimize downtime, managing supplier relationships, and optimizing stock levels. The Spares Manager will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, forecasting demand, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to customers and internal teams. .

Key Responsibilities:
Service the customers / Key accounts spare requirements within the defined TAT -Turnaround time.
Engage with existing customers for understanding and forecasting their demand for spare parts
Lead / Manage “ End to end Sales process “ for spares parts Sales – Quote, Supply and Collect O/s’s.
Forecast demand and ensure optimal stock levels for critical and fast-moving spare parts.
Ensure timely procurement and distribution of parts to customers and internal service teams.
Monitor spare parts usage trends and plan for future needs.
Work closely with the maintenance and service teams to understand their requirements.
Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising the availability of key spares.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all spare parts transactions.
Conduct periodic audits of inventory levels and stock condition.

Desired Profile:
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Experience :
5-7 years of experience in spare parts management, preferably in the packaging or manufacturing industry.
Proven track record in inventory management and supplier negotiation.
Skills :
Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory software.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on minimizing equipment downtime.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Additional Requirements:
Knowledge of packaging machinery or heavy equipment spare parts is a plus.
Strong analytical skills for forecasting and managing stock levels effectively.
Willingness to travel to vendor sites as needed.
