The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing enterprise-grade SQL Server environments, ensuring performance, availability, and security across development and production systems.🔧 Key ResponsibilitiesManage SQL Server databases across development, testing, and mission-critical production environmentsConfigure and maintain database servers, processes, and security controlsMonitor system health, performance, and alerts to ensure high availabilityPerform daily backup monitoring, restores, and recovery operationsExecute performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshootingApply data modeling techniques to support integration and performance requirementsIndependently analyze and resolve issues end-to-end in real timeAutomate recurring processes, track issues, and maintain documentationSupport developers with complex query tuning and schema improvementsProvide 24×7 support for critical systems and perform after-hours maintenanceShare technical expertise and mentor team members🎯 Skills & Qualifications6+ years of hands-on MS SQL Server Administration experienceStrong knowledge of performance tuning & optimization (PTO) using native toolsExpertise in backup, restore, and recovery modelsExperience working with Windows Server, including Active DirectoryStrong communication skills and a collaborative mindsetAbility to work independently, multitask, and adapt to fast-changing environmentsCertifications such as MCTS, MCITP, or MVP are a plus
