About the RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Back-End Java Engineer with expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to develop, optimize and maintain enterprise-grade web applications.The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in Java backend development, AEM Sites and Assets, integrations, CI/CD workflows and cloud deployments.Develop scalable, secure and high-performance backend solutions using AEM, Java, Sling, HTL/Sightly and OSGi.Build and extend AEM components, templates, workflows and experience fragments.Integrate AEM with enterprise systems, REST APIs, GraphQL and third-party platforms.Configure and maintain AEM environments including local, development, QA, staging and production.Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and manage deployments across environments.Conduct code reviews and contribute to architectural improvements and refactoring.Collaborate with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to support complex requirements.Provide technical troubleshooting, performance optimization and client support.Develop and maintain technical documentation including configuration guides and runbooks.Work within Scrum methodology to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.Key SkillsAEM Expertise: Proficiency in AEM Sites, AEM Assets, AEM Integrations, AEM Components, AEM Templates, AEM Workflows and AEM Experience Fragments.Java Development: Strong background in Java backend development, Java libraries and frameworks.CLOUD DEPLOYMENT: Experience in cloud deployments, containerization and DevOps practices.CI/CD PIPELINES: Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.TEAMWORK: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service.
