Job Description- Game Design / Game Development Faculty Member

Position Overview-

We are looking for an expert game designer / developer who is willing to joinAmity School of Film and Drama as Game Designing / Developing FacultyMember. You must be able to plan for a game from layout to asset & characters. You would train students to strategies to design a process to play a game. You will also be responsible to train students in creating levels, game storyline, building character biographies, constructing the base engine, designing specific role-play mechanics, contributing to audio and graphic design, animatics for the games. As Game Developing Faculty Member you must be apt in developing a video game software/application for computers, gaming consoles/Android or iOS. You ought to have proficiency in almost every aspect of video game production, from the initial concept phase through to the final testing. You will be required to train students to transform games from a concept to a playable reality. You will make the students do the coding for visual elements, programming features, and testing iterations until a game is ready for market. You are expected to train students in developing exciting new video games for PC's, Android & iOS platforms. You should be connected with industry peers to facilitate updated learning experience and live project integrations for the students.


Required Software Skillset-He must have sound knowledge of low poly modelling, normal mapping, texture painting as well.Photoshop, 3ds Max, Substance Painter, C/C++/C#, Python, 2D Game Builder, Unity & Unreal Engine(special mention-Unreal Blueprint).


Academic Qualification- Master’s Degree in CS / Computer Application / Films / Animation / Fine Arts, PhD in CS / Computer Application / Films / Animation / Fine Arts is desirable. However, suitable candidates with required Software skill sets can apply.



Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language .
