Job Purpose

To lead the internal audit activities office function including effective and efficient delivery of audit projects, special assignments, team management and stakeholder management.


Accountabilities and responsibilities

Internal audit assurance for Hazira and Corporate functions

Stakeholder management

Internal audit governance management

Team development

Development of risk-based audit plans and engagement planning

Close monitoring of audit engagement and guidance to execution teams

Ensure compliance with IA methodology

Ensure timeliness in delivery of audits

Ensure timely and effective closure of audit observations


Technical Skills: Hands-on knowledge of IA frameworks, strong business and commercial acumen.

Required Years of Experience: 18 to 20 years, out of which at least 3 years should be in the internal audit leadership position in a large mining & manufacturing/infrastructural companies set up or at Director level in Big 4 accounting firms. Partner or Director from accounting firms other than Big 4 having similar experience can be considered.


Required Qualification:

Must have – CA or MBA with CIA

Added advantage – Certifications in data analytics, continuous auditing
