Responsibilities:

  • Work with a team of engineers and cross-divisionally with our partners to build mobile solutions for iOS (Swift / SwiftUI).
  • Deliver against the long-term vision for the Delta Air Line mobile experience, with the goal of simplifying the experience for employees and supporting efforts to improve the experience of our customers.
  • Build mobile apps based on UX process and collaborate with design teams.
  • Work as a valued squad member in an Agile environment, while contributing to the larger Digital Mobile domain at Delta to improve processes, capabilities and toolkits.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications):

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Highly skilled in developing iOS mobile applications, good understanding of design patterns, working knowledge in cloud-native technologies is desired.
  • 6+ Years of Swift/SwiftUI.
  • Experience with Combine, XCUITests, asynchronous programming techniques, Swift Data, Core Data, caching mechanisms.
  • Strong in design patterns.
  • Experience in GIT and DevOps pipeline including TDD and test automation.
  • A good understanding of Agile Methodology is required.
  • Must have the ability to work well with multiple teams in a time sensitive and team environment with minimal supervision, be results oriented and capable of meeting deadlines with attention to detail and follow through.

  • Knowledge/Experienced with interface design tools such as Figma.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):

  • Working knowledge of AWS, Node.js and lambdas is desired but not required.
  • Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
