Job Requirement:

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the design and development of electrical components, with a focus on solar PV systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, MATLAB).
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, power electronics, and thermal management principles.
- Prior experience in the solar energy industry and familiarity with solar PV system components is highly desirable.
- Experience with product testing, validation, and compliance with industry standards (e.g., UL, IEC).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Job Description:
As an Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager specializing in solar products, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of solar product solutions for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, efficiency, and performance of solar products, contributing to the advancement of renewable energy technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:
- Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of products, considering factors such as electrical performance, thermal management, durability, and manufacturability.
- Utilize CAD software and simulation tools to model and analyse product designs, optimizing for efficiency and reliability.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to integrate innovative features into the solar.
- Testing and Validation:
- Develop test plans and procedures to evaluate the electrical and mechanical performance of the products under various operating conditions.
- Collaborate with testing teams to conduct validation tests and analyse results, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement design modifications based on test findings.
- Manufacturing Support:
- Work closely with manufacturing partners to ensure seamless transition from design to production, providing technical guidance and resolving any design-related issues.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality control measures.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain consistency in production and performance.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and product management, to align product design with overall system requirements and project goals.
- Liaise with external stakeholders, such as suppliers and customers, to gather feedback, address concerns, and incorporate requirements into the product designs.
- Documentation and Compliance:
- Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and installation guidelines, to support product development and deployment.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety guidelines in the design and manufacturing of solar products.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations and standards, updating designs and processes accordingly to maintain compliance.
