Design Engineer Job Overview:The Design Engineer will be responsible for preparing detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings, schematics, layouts, and engineering documents for water and wastewater treatment systems.Key Responsibilities include performing hydraulic, structural, and thermal analysis to ensure system reliability and compliance with design requirements. The candidate must have strong understanding of water & wastewater treatment processes, hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Excel-based calculations, and process design software.Excellent coordination and communication skills are necessary for inter-departmental collaboration. Detail-oriented, innovative, and efficient problem-solving skills are required.Responsibilities include reviewing drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance before submission, as well as implementing design improvements based on feedback, site observations, and technological advancements. Strong understanding of water & wastewater treatment processes.Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Excel-based calculations, and process design software.Ability to read, interpret, and prepare engineering drawings and P&IDs.Excellent coordination and communication skills for inter-departmental collaboration.
